Еще одни ветераны британской oi!-сцены, до которых так долго не доходили руки - Red Alert. Эти дядьки из Сандерленда, начали играть свою незамысловатую музыку уже весной 1979 года. В составе: Steve Smith (вокал), Tony Frater (гитара), Gaz Stuart (бас), Kid Stoker (гитара) и Mitch (барабаны) в мае 1980 группа записала свои первые четыре трека для дебютной семерки Third And Final. Вскоре Red Alert берут под свою опеку "No Future Records", где до середины 80-х, парни выпустили еще несколько удачных семидюймовок и дебютным альбомом "We've Got The Power", после чего как и большинств их коллег по панк цеху группа столкнулась с различными проблемами, приведших к распаду коллектива. Однако бездействие продлилось всего лишь до 1989 года, когда музыканты решили вновь вернуться на сцену. С тех пор группа довольно твердо стоит на ногах и время от времени радует слушателей новыми релизами. На сегодняшний день из оригинальных участников банды остался лишь сам Steve.
