Уже на тот момент Чарли было 32 года и сам факт, что он все еще в деле вызывает только восторг и уважение. За свои 40 лет творчества группа выдала на ура не один десяток панк гимнов, отыграла тысячи концертов и выпустила неимоверное количество различных релизов. Став одним из топовых панк коллективов начала 80-х, UK Subs остались верны выбранному пути и после спада интереса к подобной музыке среди публики. За все годы через группу прошло неимоверное количество музыкантов, менялись все кроме самого Charlie.
