Sham 69

Легенда Oi! музыки, стоявшая у самых её истоков - пролетарский панк рок прямо с рабочих окраин Хершема - Sham 69.  Группа, собравшаяся в 1975 году, выпустившая кучу отличных записей, и набрав ошеломляющую популярность (пик которой пришел на 78-79), взорвавшая британские чарты и подарившая миру дюжину настоящих панк гимнов всех времен и народов. Зачастую концерты группы сопровождались погромами и вспышками насилия, в основном связанных с появлением на данных шоу представителей наци скинхедов, что совсем не радовало лидера команды - Джимми Пёрси, придерживающегося социалистических взглядов.
В 1980 году группа обьявляет о прекращении деятельности.  Пёрси решил заниматься сольной карьерой и продюссированием различных Oi!/punk  групп. Реюнион Sham 69 произошел спустя семь лет в 1987 году и группа вполне гармонично просуществовала до 2007 года, когда произошёл конфликт между двумя старожилами банды - самим Пёрси и гитаристом Парсонсом. Группа официально распалась, но спустя какой-то промежуток времени Парсонс заявляет о том, что коллектив будет продолжать творчество без Джимми, находит замену недостающим музыкантам (вокал и бас) и в таком виде группа существует и по сей день, не обращая внимание на недовольство Пёрси и старых фенов группы.
