И снова тяжелая артиллерия!!! Одни из отцов основоположников Oi! музыки Angelic upstarts и их лидер Mensi. Настоящий пролетарский панк рок с грязных улиц Саут-Шилдс 1977 года. Наряду с Cockney Rejects и Sham 69 парни перевернули панк сцену и дали ей новое дыхание!!! Имея левые социалистические взгляды и четкую антифашисткую позицию группа противопоставляла себя национальному фронту и часто вступала в открытые конфликты с их представителями. Как и многие их современникb, выпустив кучу успешных синглов и альбомов, Angelic upstarts подались в эксперименты со звуком и на какой-то промежуток творчества отдалились от традиционного панк рока. Не смотря на то что за все время своего существования группа не единожды уходила в творческие отпуски, коллектив до сих пор более-менее твердо стоит на ногах. Правда никого из сторожил в нынешнем составе уже не осталось, даже верный на протяжении более 30 лет своему детищу вокалист Менси, покинул коллектив в 2006 году, уступив своё место старому приятелю Крису Райту, вокалисту дружественной банды Crashed Out.
