Первые четыре альбомы и несколько синглов группы имели хороший успех у слушателей и поднимались на вершины UK Indi Chart. Начиная со своего второго альбома, Crass начали выпускать релизы своими силами, создав Crass Records. Под данным значком парни кроме собственных записей выпускали уйму различных коллективов - соратников по сцене. Знаменитая песня Exploited "Punks not dead" - ответ последних на одну из песен Crass - Punk is Dead, где парни во всю проехались по панк движению, обвинив его в тупиковости и продажности. Не будем вдаваться в подробности биографии группы, так как различной информации о группе на просторах интернета хватает вполне и найти её не составит особого труда. Crass породили целое движение, вдохновили тысячи людей по всему миру, показали, что честное творчество способно расти и развиваться вне шоу бизнеса и конечно-же внесли не малый вклад в фундамент панк рока. Группа просуществовала до 1984 года.
