Voorhees - легендарная британская hardcore/punk формация собравшаяся в 1990 году в Дареме из двух местных развалившихся групп Steadfast и False Face. Названием парни обязаны герою культового фильма ужасов "Пятница 13" (главный герой Jason Voorhees). Первое выступление группы состоялось в сентябре 1991-го, после чего было записано первое демо "Everyone's Good at Something..." (9-10 декабря 91), а спустя еще 4 месяца свет увидел дебютный EP "Violent..." Вообще 90-е для группы прошли довольно плодовито: два альбома, несколько EP, гастроли по Европе и Америке. Состав банды менялся, но незаменимым всегда оставался вокалист и один из основателей - Ian Leck. Voorhees делили сцену с такими бандами как: Hatebreed, Slapshot, Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Kill Your Idols и прочими корифеями жанра. В 2001 году банда распалась, какое-то время с удовольствием практиковала нечастые реюнионы для разовых выступлений, а после и вовсе вернулась на сцену и активна по сей день.
