Не удивительно, что и последующие работы команды имели приличный успех, попадая в чарты и закрепляя за неё статус одной из самых мощных и бескомпромиссных групп панк сцены. Самой продаваемой из наследия коллектива считается семидюймовка "Die for Your Government", многими называемая лучшей работой The Varukers. Также положительное действие на рост популярности группы оказало появление музыкантов в документальном фильме "UK/DK". Начиная примерно с 1984 года, The Varukers начинают обильную гастрольную деятельность по различным уголкам Европы, уже не ограничиваясь одной Великобританией. Но не смотря на довольно хороший успех и потенциал, группу не обошел кризис, настигший большинство их соратников по сцене и в 1987 году команда прекращает свою деятельность. В 1993 году The Varukers восстают из пепла, выпускают свежий релиз и отправляются в грандиозное турне, захватив кроме Европы, Скандинавию, Японию и США. Вышедший в 1995 году "Still Bollox But Still Here", содержал старые всеми любимые боевики команды, записанные музыкантами заново. Группа и по сей день довольно твердо стоит на ногах, выпускает свежие релизы и расширяет территории своей гастрольной деятельности. Япония, Бразилия, Австралия, США, Россия - список можно продолжать, но я думаю и приведенного вполне хватает, чтобы осознать культовость данной команды и её значение для панк сцены и тот не малый вклад, внесенный в неё музыкантами.
P.S. : в 2003 году Anthony "Rat" Martin не отвлекаясь от своего основного детища, присоединился к реанимированному Discharge, где голосит и по сей день, а также является вокалистом еще одной молодой, но довольно мощной команды - The Vile. Весьма не дурно и показательно, как человек любит своё занятие и насколько трудолюбиво к нему относиться.
